Brook Thompson is a Yurok and Karuk Native from Northern California. Brook fights for water and Native American rights through speaking to groups and frontline activism. She has been an intern for the City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs in D.C., and most recently the California State Water Resource Control Board Office of Information Management.
In 2017 Brook was awarded the American Indian Graduate Center’s Undergraduate student of the year and in 2020 she was won Unity’s 25 Under 25 award.

As Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Governance, Rochelle Ford has executive responsibility for public policy advocacy, external communications, and management of corporate governance, including providing support to the Board of Trustees and the USRA Council of Institutions, which includes representatives from each of USRA’s 114 member universities. She will also serve as USRA’s Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer (CECO) and Chair of USRA’s Executive Compliance Committee (ECC).
Ms. Ford brings extensive experience to USRA spanning service in all the three branches of government, the private sector, and the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining USRA, she served as the Director of Government Ethics at the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability in Washington, D.C. She is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional.

Bio: Imani Jaafar, Lead Risk Consultant, Enterprise Risk Management at Target, helps protect Target by identifying, assessing, and managing a portfolio of top strategic, financial, operational, and reputational risks the company faces. Imani also serves as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Minnesota. Imani is also a diversity trainer focused on teaching professionals how to disrupt bias when working with Muslim communities both locally and nationally. Previously, Imani was a Director in the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights where she built risk and compliance programs that included risk monitoring, auditing, and oversight focused on equitable outcomes as well as leading investigative work across the city enterprise. Bio: Marshall Lin is currently the Senior Manager - Compliance at Target Corporation. In this role, he leads the team responsible for programs focused on product compliance, including requirements regarding salability, storage, disposal, and marketing. Marshall has also supported other compliance programs at Target, including privacy, licensing, and adult beverage. Bio: Blessing is a Vice President at Fidelity Investments. She has 29+ years of experience in global technology and operational roles, leading complex multi-system, cross-functional process improvement initiatives using various software development methodologies, including Agile. She started her career in London as a business analyst and consultant working for an international Customer Relationship Management (CRM) vendor implementing call/contact center CRM solutions. Her clients in many European cities included leading brands in the industry. Blessing harnessed successful processes from the implementations and built a business analysis consulting practice in the UK. She was quickly promoted to a manager and was asked to relocate to the USA to build the North American business analysis practice. She successfully built a virtual team of business analysis consultants while delivering over 15 workflow enabled CRM solutions for leading brands in the US and Canada.

Tarica is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in Anti Money Laundering, Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act and Sanctions. Tarica has proven success and an unrelenting passion for training, developing, and mentoring talented individuals to lead them to their fullest potential. Throughout her career she has helped in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures in risk, compliance for the banking/finance industry including but not limited to the, Money Service Businesses, Virtual Currency, Investment Banking and Capital Markets. Bio: Solomon Carter serves as the Chief of Staff for the office of the Vice President in the Physicians Group Practices, Patient Financial Services division where he also leads the Office of Professional Development at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, Solomon serves as the Executive Director of All Power in His Hands Christian Mission which is an aid organization that operates in Haiti where he leads mission teams and administers food and medicine programs to hundreds of families throughout the country.
Bio: Dr. I. David Daniels is an occupational health and safety professional, thought leader, former public safety executive, and President/CEO of ID2 Solutions, LLC.
Dr. Daniels holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Services Administration, a master’s degree in human resources management, and a Ph.D. in Occupational Health and Safety. He is certified as a Safety Director, Violence Prevention Specialist, Emergency Management Specialist, Safety and Health Specialist, and certified in Mental Health First Aid.

Jessica Holmes is a senior level risk management professional with over 20-years of experience in the financial services industry. Bio: Shanessa Guidry is a Vice President at Morgan Stanley within the U.S. Banks covering privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity | fraud. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Shanessa worked at TMAC as a Systems Engineer focused on operations and systems privacy governance. JoQuese has been with Medtronic for 14 years and is currently the Chief of Staff and the Sr. Director of Global Compliance Programs & Governance. In these roles she is responsible for the overall global programming and governance aspects for the Office of Ethics & Compliance. JoQuese has her BS in Biomedical Science from Auburn University (2006), completed her MBA focused on Health Care Management (2010), and completed her Doctor of Health Administration degree from Capella University in 2019. Anthony is a racial justice analyst & strategist, educator and lawyer. He is the Manager of the City of Toronto’s Confronting Anti-Black Racism (CABR) Unit. The CABR Unit is responsible for the implementation of the Toronto Action Plan to Confront Anti-Black Racism.
Prior to joining the City, Anthony was in practice, specializing in the areas of civil, constitutional and criminal state accountability litigation. He has a special interest in anti-racist human rights advocacy, particularly in the area of anti-Black racism. He has appeared at various levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and has also represented the interests of African Canadians before United Nations human rights treaty bodies.

Michael has over 30 years of financial service and executive experience in the areas of ethics, compliance, and risk management. Prior to joining Ryan Specialty, he was the North America chief compliance officer for Chubb Insurance Group, responsible for developing and maintaining their North American (NA) compliance program. He was primarily responsible for the NA compliance framework integration and transformation during the ACE/Chubb merger. Before his time with Chubb, he held various leadership roles with Marsh & McLennan Companies, focusing on compliance and government affairs. Before joining Marsh, he held compliance and risk management advisory roles for KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He began his insurance career as an underwriter for Continental Insurance Company and then as a casualty broker with Alexander & Alexander Insurance Brokerage Firm. Michael was recently named and recognized in Savoy Magazine, as one of the 2022 most Influential Blacks in Corporate America. Savoy magazine is a leading national publication covering African American lifestyle in fashion, business, sports, and entertainment. He was also recognized in Insurance Business America’s (IBA) Global 100, for 2021, as an influential insurance professional making waves and positive change in the insurance industry worldwide. In 2020, he was named in IBA Hot 100 insurance practitioners that shaped, transformed, and pushed the insurance industry forward with his dedication, mentorship, and vision. Also in 2020, IBA recognized Michael as a change agent in leading efforts to create an environment to ensure that the doors at all levels of the insurance industry are open wide for people of all races, ethnicities, genders, nationalities, orientations, and ages.
Michael also has been honored by both Syracuse University, receiving the Chancellor’s Citation, in recognition of his significant career and civic achievements, and by Fordham’s Black Law Student Association, receiving the annual Ruth Whitehead Whaley Award for being a prominent alumnus in the field of compliance. Michael serves on several advisory boards and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Excess Line Association of New York (ELANY) in 2021. ELANY is a nonprofit industry advisory association charged with the duty to facilitate and encourage compliance with the surplus lines insurance laws of New York State. He currently serves as ELANY’s Vice Chairman, a member of the Audit and Finance Committee, and its Chairman of the Operations & Procedures Committee. Linda Gadsby is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at NBME - National Board of Medical Examiners in Philadelphia, PA. Reshma Kolhapure is a Product Manager for Compliance Automation for the Legal Affairs Pyramid at Target. Since joining Target in 2011, Reshma has played an important role in driving maturity in Target’s risks,. Lloydette Bai-Marrow is the Founding Partner of Parametric Global Consulting, an investigations consulting practice. As a former Principal Investigative Lawyer within the UK Government’s Serious Fraud Office, Lloydette provided legal advice and leadership on top tier cases of fraud, bribery and corruption in the UK and abroad. She has worked as a prosecutor in a number of government departments.

Dr. I. David Daniels is an occupational health and safety professional, thought leader, former public safety executive, and President/CEO of ID2 Solutions, LLC.
Dr. Daniels holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Services Administration, a master’s degree in human resources management, and a Ph.D. in Occupational Health and Safety. Before joining Morgan & Morgan, PA, Anthony practiced both as a solo practitioner and with Prioleau & Milfort, LLC, an Atlanta, Georgia-based boutique employment firm with whom Anthony maintains an ongoing Of Counsel relationship. His foray into private practice came after spending seven years with Maximus Human Services, Inc., a multinational government sector business process outsourcing firm, as Vice President and in-house counsel. Anthony transitioned to Maximus Human Services, Inc. after gaining experience as legal counsel and chief counsel at the Senate of Pennsylvania and executive director at the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus.
Anthony graduated from the venerable Girard College boarding school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morehouse College and a Juris Doctor from the Commonwealth Law School at Widener University. Anthony resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and is an avid fitness enthusiast.
Ketra is a regulatory, compliance, and risk management professional with over twenty years of experience in bank operations, compliance, and auditing. Ketra has a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance from Wayne State University and MBA from University of Phoenix. Ketra is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager from the American Bankers Association. Currently, she works as a Risk Principal with Discover Financial. Ketra is the Co-Chairman for Building our Economic Wealth Committee, and Financial Secretary for the Omega Epsilon Omega of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Also, Ketra is a Trustee, and on the finance committee at Greater Grace Temple Church in Detroit, MI. Recently, she was appointed to the Wayne County Ethics Board of Michigan with her term expiring in 2024. Ketra enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and teaching varies topics on financial literacy.
Dan is the Founder of Second Line Advisors and is an industry-leading expert within the Compliance, Risk, and Regulatory functions since 1999. He has conducted searches for executives in the compliance, risk, legal, internal audit and regulatory affairs functions throughout the world, particularly in Financial Services and FinTech. His portfolio of work includes Chief Compliance Officers, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Auditors and Chief Legal Officers. He has been noted in various industry periodicals and is engaged in industry events with The Clearing House/BPI, SIFMA, ABA, ACAMS, RMA and GARP.
Louis C. Senat is a Haitian-American attorney admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Southern and Middle District Bankruptcy Courts of Florida. He received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in 2008, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009. Prior to attending law school, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
While attending law school, Louis worked at the prestigious intellectual property law firm, Gold & Rizvi, P.A., where he obtained vast experience in all aspects of intellectual property law. Louis served as the Vice-President and as President of the Caribbean Law Student Association. He also participated in the American-Caribbean Law Initiative, where he argued cases before the Crown Counsel of the Cayman Islands.
Louis practices in the areas of Real Estate Law, Foreclosure Defense, Landlord/Tenant Law, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Intellectual Property Law. He has held many leadership positions such as Lead Eviction and Monitor Attorney, and Litigation Attorney in several law firms. He served as Secretary of the Haitian Lawyers Association from 2013 to 2016, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Broward College in the school's Paralegal Studies Program.
Daniel L. Williams is a talented senior level global leader with over 20 years of physical security, cyber security, and technical security leadership. He takes pride in creating results driven leadership through ethical change management strategies and is personally committed to enabling a healthy organizational culture through stewardship, inclusion, and diversity.
Currently as the Senior Manager of Business Continuity and Crisis Management, Dan will lead Lucid in creating programs to keep their workforce safe and operational. Dan is the former Global Head of Security Resilience & Partnerships at Uber technologies Inc., he led with his team a cohesive strategy for global business continuity, crisis management, and disaster response during the COVID-19 outbreak. Prior to this role, they established Uber’s global threat management, protective intelligence, travel security, and insider threat programs scaling each through initial public offering (IPO) and beyond.
Prior to his transition to the private sector, he served over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps as a Counterintelligence Agent and as a federal civil servant for Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Dan received several awards and citations during his career to include two bronze stars.
In addition to his career, Dan created an endowment through Indiana Wesleyan University. This endowment is designed to provide scholarships to well deserving students with a lower grade point average (GPA) that might not be eligible for traditional scholarships. The scholarship is named after the recruiter who helped Dan enlist into the United States Marines.
Shamia Lodge is a human resource leader with more than 16 years of experience as a corporate professional. Shamia is currently a fellow in the CEO Action for Racial Equity (CEOARE) Fellowship. She leads a corporate engagement strategy to mobilize untapped talent by destigmatizing reentry and advocating for fair chance hiring. Outside of her work within the CEOARE Fellowship, Shamia’s passion is evident through her involvement in nonprofit organizations and community programs. She is prominently involved in building key community relationships and addressing racial inequality. As the Interim board President for ReInventing ReEntry, she helps educate and reshape our society’s perception of formerly incarcerated people. She is also a board member of the Valedictorian Project Inc., an organization established to inspire children to strive for academic excellence and other educational task force groups. She is a Black Philanthropy Initiative Social Justice Committee member and the Arizona state ambassador to the United States of Women (USOW). Shamia is a recipient of Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 under 40 class of 2021, holds a Bachelor of Arts in human resource management, and is currently pursuing her master’s in legal studies from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University. She resides in Arizona with her husband and four amazing daughters and strives daily to balance the value of family, community, and work.

Djofia Bentho is a Lead Data Analyst within the Compliance, Legal & Risk Services Department at Target Corporation.
He is responsible for providing support to the Legal Affairs Team with research, data wrangling, analytics and visualization.
Djofia is a graduate from Bethel University in Minnesota, where he received a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management.
In addition to his employment at Target Corporation, Djofia is a member of Knights of Columbus and he helps his community by volunteering at church.
Tiffany is the Call Quality Compliance Manager for Aaron’s and is responsible for monitoring collection calls for regulatory compliance across over 700 Aaron’s stores. Prior to joining Aaron’s in October 2017, Tiffany’s compliance career began in 2004 with Bank of America in Currency/Tax Reporting compliance and Global Wealth and Investment Management. Tiffany is graduate of University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and minor concentration in Project Management.
Jasmine serves as Global Senior Director, Society and Physician Relations, Strategic Customer Engagement, and Medical Education and Sales Training. In this role, she is responsible for the global operational structure for the Neuromodulation Customer Experience teams and is laser-focused on building external relationships with Medical Healthcare and Professional Societies for the Neuromodulation business.
With 16 years of medical device experience at Medtronic, Jasmine leads teams focused on customer engagement, strategic innovations for society conferences, and training on the safe and effective usage of the Neuromodulation portfolio, all while keeping customers' needs and patients at the forefront.
Jasmine is a graduate of the University of New Orleans (2020) with a Master of Science degree focused on executive studies in Marketing Applications, Finance, Revenue Management, and Industry Development and uses her experience in operations analysis, change, and strategic management in her current role. She also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Louisiana State University (2002), where she focused on the systematic understanding of social interaction, social organization, social institutions, and social change. Jasmine has a Certified Life Coach Certification from the CLC Institute, providing a unique perspective on multi-faceted roles.
Jasmine's career began in regional hospitality sales in the Northeast and transitioned to the Mid-south, where she then joined Medtronic, Inc in Memphis, TN. She quickly moved into society relations, conference planning, and physician relations leadership roles within Medtronic Spine, Restorative Therapies Group, Brain Therapies, and most recently, in 2020 joined the Neuromodulation Operating Unit.
Jasmine has the pleasure of serving on the Medtronic African Descent Network serving as the co-lead for the LIFT professional development program, a member of New Orleans Go Red for Women Circle of Red, and has a passion for volunteering at schools in the mid-south focused on educating students on healthcare professions.

Dr. Daniels serves as a member of the National Safety Council (NSC) Board of Directors, was the founding chair of the NSC’s Government and Public-Sector Division, and was a recipient of NSC’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service to Safety Award. He is also chair of the National Association of Black Compliance and Risk Management Professionals Safety and Security Workgroup.
Dr. Daniels is a life member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and served over 30 years in fire/rescue, emergency medical, and emergency management organizations in three states. His career focus on safety was a primary reason he was inducted into the National Fire Heritage Center’s Hall of Legacies, Legends, and Leaders Class of 2021, the first living African American to have received this honor.

In addition to her work at Vibrant, Lisa serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Crisis Organization Directors (NASCOD), and is an advisor to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline through participation in their Standards, Trainings, and Practices Committee.
Daughter of Caribbean immigrants and a lifelong Brooklynite, Lisa is a proud Social Work alumna of Howard University Graduate School of Social Work with an emphasis in Mental Health/Impacted Communities.
